Dear Cardholder:
When using your Credit Cards, please consider the recommendations explained below. This is the only way to minimize the risk of fraud.
- Once you receive your Credit Card, you must sign it on the back. Your signature identifies you as the card’s owner. Without a signature, if your card is lost or stolen, it is easier for it to be used fraudulently.
- Always present a personal identification document along with your Credit Card to further confirm your identity as the card’s owner.
- Your Credit Card is yours and is not transferable. Only you can use it. You can always request an additional card for anyone you wish.
- Memorize your PIN number. Do NOT write it down anywhere and Do NOT share it with anyone. Do NOT tell anyone. Do NOT allow anyone to observe when you enter your PIN number at an ATM machine.
- Take all due precautions when making orders or purchases by mail, telephone or over the Internet. Only do transactions with known and recommended sites having a good reputation for seriousness, and security and doing a responsible business by mail, telephone or Internet.
- Do not give any security information on your Credit Card to anyone who claims they are from the Bank. To confirm any transaction or authorization, our personnel will correctly identify themselves, without them needing to ask you for this information.
